MI’s original course Early Start! emphasizes the early introduction of Algebra and Geometry.  Depending on the age and level, basic to advanced concepts are introduced in a fun and inspiring way - through interactive problem solving, modeling, and educational games and best teaching methodologies from different countries.

Targeted towards younger students, the Early Start! course is filled with fun and enriching activities. It will help your child to become a life-long thinker and establish an appreciation and love for mathematics while learning specific math concepts and problem solving techniques, mastering mental computation skills, and developing abstract and critical thinking skills.

Students learn to analyze patterns, solve logical problems and puzzles, perform operations with fractions and signed numbers, use the number line, learn divisibility rules, solve one and multi-step algebraic equations, learn about polygons and polyhedrons, build models, and apply their knowledge to problem solving. Students are trained to apply the G. Polya Four-Step Problem Solving Plan, model and enact numerical and algebraic equations, and word problems.
